Scaffbook is built and published by Scaffbook Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 19 699 696 190), Level 28, 140 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect and what we do with it.
scaffbook.com is a static page. It sets no tracking cookies and loads no advertising or analytics scripts from third parties. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address as part of serving the font files.
If you use the Message us form, we receive the name, email address, optional company name and message you type, together with the time it was sent and your IP address (used only to limit spam). That message is emailed to our own inbox and is not stored by any other service. We use it solely to reply to you.
When you create a Scaffbook account you give us your name and email address, and, depending on the modules you use, information such as:
This information exists so the app can do its job: keep a record of scaffolds, crews and credentials for you and the company you work with. It is shared only with the accounts you or your company have authorised to see it. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Account and app data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in the Asia-Pacific region. Access is restricted by row-level security so each user and company can only see their own records. Data is encrypted in transit.
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Email info@scaffbooktechnologies.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above and, for app users, let you know in the app.
